Makueni County has rolled out an intensive registration drive aimed at enrolling more residents into the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) scheme, targeting households that have yet to register.
Health officials have set up registration desks at public facilities, markets and administrative offices to make the process more accessible to residents in rural areas.
"Our target is to ensure every resident of this county has access to quality healthcare without suffering financial hardship," said a county health official coordinating the drive.
