Deaf schools receive sports equipment donation

Several schools for the deaf within the region have received sports equipment donations aimed at promoting inclusivity and encouraging participation in sports among learners with hearing impairments.

The donation, comprising footballs, volleyballs, nets and athletics gear, is expected to boost the schools' participation in regional and national sports competitions for learners with special needs.

"Sport is a universal language. These children deserve every opportunity to compete and showcase their talent," said an official from the donor organization.
