Safaricom Foundation trains youth on digital skills in Isiolo

The Safaricom Foundation has rolled out a digital skills training programme targeting unemployed youth in Isiolo County, as part of efforts to bridge the digital divide in marginalized regions.

The training covers basic computer literacy, mobile money entrepreneurship and online freelancing, with organizers hoping participants will use the skills to create income-generating opportunities.

"We want to equip our young people with skills that are relevant to today's job market, even in regions that have historically been left behind digitally," said a Foundation representative.
