CS Kindiki launches Sh21 billion development projects in Tharaka Nithi

Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has launched development projects worth Sh21 billion in Tharaka Nithi County, targeting road infrastructure, water supply and health facility upgrades.

Speaking during the launch, the CS said the projects were part of the government's broader agenda to open up marginalized areas and stimulate local economic activity.

"These investments will not only improve access to essential services but also create employment opportunities for our youth during construction and beyond," said Kindiki.

Area leaders lauded the initiative, saying it would significantly improve connectivity between Tharaka Nithi and neighboring counties, easing the transportation of agricultural produce to markets.
